What is the Guest Speaker Series?

Rick Hills
Alastair Baird
Catherine Brady

For an actor, there is no world more confusing and difficult than present-day Hollywood. So Argentum Photo Lab has designed a new series of events to help. The Argentum Guest Speaker Series is designed to help cut through the clutter and uncertainty and give you, the hard-working actor, a direct line into the inner-workings of Hollywood. Each event is a 90 minute free lecture that gets into the details of what every aspiring and working actor needs to know.

How do I sign up?

In order to attend an event, you must sign up. The only way to sign up is via e-mail. Please send your name and phone number to steven@argentum.com. You will receive an e-mail conformation with further instructions.

What else do I need to know about these events?

Space is limited and admission is first come first serve.

This is not a showcase! Its NOT a time to bring your headshot and resume or ask our guest to take you on as a client. Our speakers are invited guests and are not looking to add to their talent roster so PLEASE, do not ask.

This is an opportunity for you to bounce questions off our guests about the business of acting. Think about how you're marketing yourself and if your strategies are working. Ask questions about the usefulness of what you're doing or for suggestions on how to improve your plans.

Space is limited so only sign up if you are going to attend. If an unforeseen situation arises and you cannot attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can fill your sport. These are free lectures so please be respectful and follow our simple request - let somebody else experience a Guest Speaker Event.

Come to as many seminars as you can. Our events are designed to flood you with useful information you can apply to your career. Whether you are looking for an agent or looking to increase your exposure to casting directors...we've got you covered.

Do your homework and come prepared with questions. These events will last as long as you have questions. Really spend some time preparing your questions. Like most things in life, its what YOU make of it. We've done the hard part. We've lined up the speakers. It's up to you to take advantage of your time with them.
